Inspired by a true Thanksgiving feast at Grandma's house. After stuffing ourselves like the turkey we just ate, Grandma entered the room with leisure   pants draped over her arm and said, "Darlings, after dinner pants?" Here is a photo of Lisa, her product developer Laura Hansen, and Tim Gunn! We presented Tim with a special pair of ADPs for his hang-around-the-house wardrobe. Lisa is featured in the January 2011 issue of INSTORE magazine, "The magazine for successful retailers," in partnership with the Dallas Market Center. The publication is sent out quarterly to 250,000 retailers a year. Her article is titled "All the Right Moves," on page 14, and discusses how having the right staff starts with hiring the right candidate. As Lisa says, "You have to be really clear as to what you're seeking in an employee. I also think it's important that you know why your applicant is seeking a job. That's part of the psychology of interviewing, because that way I know what motivates them." Lisa will be presenting a seminar for the Denver Colorado Chamber and Small Business Development Center network on November 5, 2010. The seminar is about "Marketing Yourself in a Tough Economy," and is just in time for retailers looking to expand their business profits before Black Friday.
